Rock the Ages
One of the great missions text of the Bible is found in Mark 16:15 “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” This short verse reveals a fundamental Biblical truth concerning missions; you mmanded to simultaneously reach the rest of the world. Both passages clearly identify our yeah filler text filler text filler.
The Chellis
Global Baptist Missions
With 17% of the population, India is the world's second most populous nation after China. India is located on the Indian subcontinent in South Asia. Diverse of language and beliefs the country is a patchwork of cultures in fifteen states organized from over 550 in 1947.Contrary to popular belief, only some areas revere cattle as sacred.
The country is a republic with ties to its Commonwealth of Nations head, Great Britain. Currently, under a new law, converts to Christianity have to appeal to the State for permission to change "religions" or consider baptism. Religious persecution is common and the country is currently closed to outside missionary efforts.
That is one reason why the fifty-year-old Berean Baptist Bible College and Seminary is vital to the country. Growing from just two students in 1956 to nearly 600 per year, Berean has had more than 4,000 graduates and go out into the world to preach the Gospel. It costs approximately $50 per student per month to train nationals, a tiny fraction of what it costs to train missionaries from outside India.
Berean Baptist also has a mobile clinic to distant villages and is beginning construction on a clinic in Bangalore.
Church Planting has seen 575 churches begun and 80 pastors supported. A goal of 100 more churches to be planted in the next five years.
The Cosmes
Independent Baptist Missions
It is estimated that, an average of one person die every three seconds. If this is true, then millions of souls slip into eternity every year! The question is, how many of them have heard the Gospel of salvation through Jesus Christ alone?
Despite the rapid rate of death, the population of the world continues to grow. Six out of 10 people on earth is an Asian. More than 60 Asian countries are within the 10/40 window. This is a vast area where more than three billion Asians have not yet heard of name of Jesus-not even once!
Multitudes of Asians die faster than we can count. But more than twice as many are born at the same time. The world, including Asians, need Jesus Christ as Savior more than ever. This is the burden of the men and women of the Independent Baptist Mission for Asians.
Our primary mission is to help win souls and establish indigenous New Testament Baptist churches in the continent of Asia through the local churches. IBMA is not established to compete with American missionaries. We are forever grateful to them for their efforts to reach the Asians. We believe however, that the nationals must take equal responsibility in reaching their people, especially in places where the foreign missionaries are unable to go due to political and security constraints. Asian nationals, as missionaries in reaching the Asians, is one of the fastest and most practical ways of fulfilling the Great Commission.
The Independent Baptist Mission for Asians seeks to provide a channel through which local churches can extend their missionary efforts to the Asians in any part of the world. IBMA aims to provide its missionaries with logistical and administrative support, thus enabling the missionaries to perform their work for the Lord more effectively.

Dave McCracken
Southwest Bapist Church
Brother Dave McCracken is the son of J T McCracken an "old fashion hell fire and brimstone, two fisted, gun barrel straight, soul winning, Bible believing Independent Baptist preacher".
Brother Dave was saved at an early age in a revival meeting at the Grace Baptist Church in Bowling Green Kentucky under the preaching of Brother Raymond Tracey. A missions trip to Mexico was key to the surrendering of his life to do anything that God would direct. The next year 1972 at the Mountain View Baptist Youth Camp in southeastern Kentucky under the preaching of Brother Tommy Trammel he surrendered to the call of God to preach the wonderful gospel of Jesus Christ.
Brother Dave attended Baptist Bible College of Springfield MO and Independent Baptist College of Dallas Texas. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Theology in 1978. Before graduation Brother Dave met Nancy Vance of Garland TX. Nancy was saved under the ministry of Brother Charles Thomas of Rogers Baptist Church in Garland. Because he has pastored for over fourteen years and worked on Church staff for six additional years he is well aware of Church needs He also understand the meaning of having a "Pastor's Heart. The Smiths
Daystar Baptist Missions
Following the pattern of the Antioch church in Acts 13, Daystar strongly upholds that the authority in the life and ministry of the missionary is the local sending church, not the mission board nor a denominational headquarters. We stand firm with churches concerning Bible doctrine, but believe the sending church determines issues of preference.
Strategic Church Planting
Following the missionary methods of the Apostle Paul, Daystar's strategy is to plant a significant church within a country that will be a source of light for the whole country. That autonomous church will eventually plant other churches, providing finances, qualified workers, and mentoring relationships to those new works, so they too can reproduce themselves and succeed as great commission churches.
Team Concept
- Team concept within a ministry; not team within a country
- Utilization of combined strengths, talents, and gifts for greater impact
- Provides greater impact through multiple ministries within the strategic church
- Provides opportunities for multi-talented individuals who are called to missions, but not to preach or pastor
- Opens the door to single men and women, plus early retirees seeking to serve the Lord on the mission field.
Discipleship
The Great Commission is the Lord's command to "go and make disciples of all nations." Missionaries, who understand the culture, will seek a variety of methods to share the light of the Gospel and make disciples who are congregated into a fruit-bearing church. The Biblical pattern is discipleship that results in authentic followers who in turn minister to others, not just evangelism that results in decisions and nothing more.
The Browns
Missionaries to Monterrey Mexico

TESTIMONY
I was born into a Christian home. My parents were missionaries to Mexico at the time, so I have heard the Gospel message since I was in the womb of my mother. But one thing about the Gospel message is that it has to be applied personally to your life. There comes a time when you and only you can make a decision like accepting Christ into your heart.
That time came to my life when I was almost 4 years old. At this time my parents were missionaries in Norway. They were ministering to the American people who worked there. One Sunday evening, June 25th, 1978, we had a special music group come and sing for us. After the special music, my father preached a salvation message. I understood clearly the fact that Christ needed to come into my heart in order for me to be saved. At the time I went foward.
When my father asked what my decision was, I said, "I want to receive Christ into my heart". He sent me to my Uncle John who was working with my father in Norway at the time, and he sent me to my Aunt Lydia, who finally prayed with me. I can remember all this as if it were yesterday and haven't had a doubt of my salvation since then.
It was only one year later that I understood and went into the waters of baptism in the Sola Bible Baptist Church.
CALL
My father has taught me a concept that is a biblical one since I was very young. The concept is found in Luke 12:48, in other words, "to whom much is given, much is required." This concept has kept my eye on why God has let me live as a missionary's kid in two separate fields. I know that the only reason is because He wanted to teach me and show me things that the ordinary Christian doesn't see, that I may serve him more than the ordinary Christian might serve him.
When I was 15 years old, as I was in my daily devotions, God called me to His service full time, and I surrendered my life to Him.
Bearing Presicous Seed
First Baptist Church Minford, Ohio
BPS/Seedline is a means for the local church to have hands on involvement with Bible publishing for the world. This is accomplished by taking the printed page and collating it, folding the covers, putting the Scripture in the cover, stapling it, cutting the book and boxing them for the Field. This ministry is simple, rewarding and Biblical.
The Seed is the Word of God. Down through the ages there has been a line of Churches who stayed true to His Word and to His command to make Christ known. The apostle Paul wrote in Colossians 4:16, “And when this epistle is read among you, cause that it be read also in the church …” He also wrote in Thessalonians 5:27, “I charge you by the Lord that this epistle be read unto all the holy brethren”. Under the law, kings and priests were commanded to make copies of the Word of God. In the New Testament, the local Churches were the publishers of the Word of God. We are in the “Church Age”. God still wants the Church to publish His Word. It is God’s commandment that we make Christ known to the world by the Scriptures, for the obedience of the faith (Romans 16:26).
